Study Summary

Is your child or adolescent suffering from alopecia areata?

The BRAVE-AA-PEDS Study is testing how safe and effective a study drug is for children and adolescents with alopecia areata or AA.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Be at least 6 and less than 18 years old
  • Have severe AA for at least a year
  • Have a current AA episode that has lasted at least 6 months
  • Have AA that has not improved on its own
  • Have tried at least 1 AA treatment, and it failed
  • The study team will review additional qualifications your child or adolescent may need to join this study

Study Description

Participation in the BRAVE-AA-PEDS Study is completely voluntary, and you can end your child or adolescent's participation at any time.

Doctors with a specialty in dermatology and experience in treating children and adolescent patients are conducting this study. The study drug and study- related medical care will be provided at no cost. Travel reimbursement may be available.
