AMAC Research Institute is a new dedicated research site on the South Coast of Massachusetts, in Dartmouth MA. We are about 60 miles south of Boston, and just 30 miles southeast of Providence.

We provide state-of-the-art facilities including a sleep lab, offering inpatient capabilities.

We also have a full complement of highly trained, dedicated medical and ancillary staff including experienced laboratory investigators, nurses, patient recruitment and retention specialists, and more.

We pull from our extensive patient database, and utilize community outreach tactics and social media campaigns to provide us with a multitude of research study volunteers.

    Mushtaque Chachar, MD, is a board certified in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He has been conducting clinical research trials as a Principal Investigator since 2012.

    Dr. Chachar is dedicated to conducting all trial activities in an ethical manner, adhering to Good Clinical Practice, and ensuring all data is gathered in a manner in line with the protocol.

    Dr. Chachar graduated from the University of Sindh in Pakistan. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Yale University. He also completed his fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Sleep Medicine.

    Additionally, he is the head of General Adult Neurology at Boston Neuro Behavioral Associates in New Bedford, MA as well as a Neurologist at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA.
