Florida Premier Research Institute, LLC (FPRI), and Florida Pulmonary Research Institute, LLC, are State-of-the-Art, Multi-Specialty facilities conducting Phase I-IV pharmaceutical research in the Orlando, Florida, metropolitan area. We conduct trials for males and females of all age groups and ethnicities. Specialty areas include but are not limited to sleep disorders (insomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Narcolepsy), pulmonary disease (such as asthma, COPD, and bronchiectasis), diabetes, gout, infectious disease, pain management, depression, women’s health, rheumatoid arthritis, hematology, oncology, and internal medicine.


Our modern facility is centrally located in the Greater Orlando area, within 30 minutes of Orlando International Airport, on the LYNX local bus line; we also have many restaurants and a huge selection of major hotels nearby. Our research facility is approximately 13,000 square feet with features such as:

  • 20 Bed sleep lab with spacious rooms, flat screen TV’s and individual climate control zones
  • CLIA Certified, and sample processing laboratory
  • Exam Rooms
  • Secure drug storage rooms
  • Private monitoring areas
  • Wireless high speed network connection
  • Dedicated Research Coordinator workspace
  • Multiple spacious storage areas

  • Research Staff available on-call 24hours
  • Centrifuges, including refrigerated centrifuge

      We have 6 full time Clinical Research Coordinators, of whom are CCRC, Recruitment Specialist, Quality Control Manager, board certified Sleep Technicians and other supporting staff members.


      Dr. Juan Carlos Escandon

      Dr. Escandon currently serves as the sub-investigator on many of our clinical research trials.
