International Dermatology Research, Inc. is a privately owned practice specializing in dermatology. Established in 1993, it has successfully completed over 500 clinical trials. Our staff is composed of a Board Certified Dermatologist, a Nurse Practitioner, 2 Medical Assistants, 1 Aesthetician, 3 Receptionists, 2 Supervisors, 5 Research Coordinators, 1 General Administrator/Research Director and 3 Clinical Research Monitors.

IDR, Inc. also counts with 13 sites in Latin America located in the following countries: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador (2 sites), Panama (3 sites), and Dominican Republic (5 Sites). The majority of our sites have over 25 years of experience conducting clinical trials. All investigators are GCP, HRP, and ICH trained.


Our centers conduct Phase II, III, and IV studies mainly in Dermatology, as well as Cosmetics and Dermatology Related Devices. In addition, 3 of our Latin American sites specialize in women's health. Among our clients, we count with most Major Pharma as well as Generic Companies, and we can proudly state that several generic and brand name medications have been FDA approved based solely on the data provided by our centers. Furthermore, our site in Honduras and one of our sites in the Dominican Republic have the capability to conduct Phase 1 trials with vast experience in Pediatrics.

Our headquarters office is located on one of Miami's main arteries, close to expressways and 10 minutes away from Miami International Airport and major hotel chains such as Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, Radisson, Holiday Inn, etc.

Said office counts with 5.500 sq feet of space with 3.000 sq feet dedicated to Clinical Research, 1,000 sq feet to Regular Dermatology Practice, and 1,500 sq feet dedicated to archiving. In addition we count with a CLIA certified laboratory, set with -20 Cº and -70 Cº freezers for PK studies. Additionally there are 2 fully customized monitoring areas, with phones, internet connection, sound proof walls, refrigerator, coffee machine, copy/fax machine, etc. As well as ample conference room equipped with TV/DVD.

The patient population at our Miami Headquarters office consists of Caucasians, Hispanics, and African Americans; and covers Pediatrics to Geriatrics. Patients in our database come mainly from Dade and Broward counties.


Since we specialize mainly in Dermatology, our staff has a vast experience in all Dermatological related conditions; giving us the ability to deliver very accurate data in a timely fashion. Furthermore having 13 additional sites in Latin America allow us to facilitate fast enrollment with 95% compliance even in studies of rare conditions difficult to conduct in the US.

IDR counts with an impressive record of 12 FDA inspections in the last 6 years without any findings or observations.
