Icon, a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, has announced that its Firecrest training meets TransCelerate BioPharma’s minimum criteria for International Conference on Harmonization Good Clinical Practice (ICH/GCP) training.
The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) has learned that TransCelerate Biopharma now recognizes certification through the Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and Certified Physician Investigator (CPI) programs of ACRP’s affiliate, the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals, as evidence of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
Nonprofit TransCelerate BioPharma is launching three new global initiatives to further advance efficiency in clinical trials and accelerate the development of new medicines: creation of common clinical trial protocol templates, development of clinical trial networks for pediatric and minority populations and establishment of a global investigator registry.
TransCelerate BioPharma has reached its primary milestone in its Clinical Trial Comparator Network initiative. Formed to establish reliable, rapid sourcing of quality drug products for use in clinical trials, the Comparator Network will enable accelerated clinical trial timelines and enhanced patient safety.
