Marken launches patient call center for clinical trial logistics

Marken has launched a 24-hour, seven day a week call center for patients enrolled in clinical trials. The call center, known as Marken’s Patient Interaction Center (PIC), is based in Philadelphia and is dedicated to the logistics needs of patients who participate in home-based clinical trials.

Marken leads the industry in clinical trial drug delivery and sample collection to and from patient’s homes. These direct to patient services are rapidly growing as an important component of clinical trials. Patients who have trouble travelling to and from their clinical sites can now receive treatment at home and have their samples collected from their home. Marken offers these services and can partner with home nursing care companies to provide a full service solution. Marken’s new call center further enhances their home service by allowing patients to contact a specialist to schedule a pick-up or delivery. The call center operates around the clock, 24/7/365. PIC call specialists are trained for each clinical protocol and provide instructions to Marken’s operators and drivers on a case by case basis. Marken works with its clients, either CROs or pharmaceutical companies, to ensure strict compliance with each clinical protocol and the strict regulatory compliance requirements which apply.
