Lakeview Clinical Research is a dedicated research facility, which has been operating in the northern Alabama area since 2019.  Our entire staff remains in complete compliance with not only what is required by the local and state guidelines, but also seizes every opportunity to  advance their skillset especially when it comes to ensuring our patients remain top priority. 

Our mission to provide comprehensive clinical research services to advance the science of medicine and conduct trials according to Good Clinical Practices, and with the hopes of delivering life changing results while exceeding our customer's expectations.  In doing, so we maintain the highest ethical standards.

Facility Description

Lakeview Clinical Research is an outpatient facility that operates with specialized equipment like -20 -80 Pharm freezers, EKG and so much more.  

Investigator Experience

Dr. Nixon is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and now resides in Guntersville, Alabama. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Nixon completed undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University, earned his MD from UAB, and then completed residency at Huntsville. He also served as Chief Resident during his residency. Dr. Nixon is currently on staff at Marshall Wound Care Center and the Principal Investigator for Lakeview Clinical Research. He has three sons, Aiden, Issac, and Hudson. 

 Dr. Saylor is a native of Arab, Alabama, and now resides in Guntersville, Alabama with his wife Tabitha. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Saylor completed undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and obtained his Masters in Public Health from UAB, all before earning his MD from UAB. He then completed residency in Huntsville and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Saylor currently serves as the Medical Director for Marshall Manor, Southern Care Hospice, and Lakeshore Senior Living Facility. 

Dr. Edwards is a native of Guntersville, Alabama.  He is a board certified in Family Medicine.  Dr Ewards completed undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama, earned his MD from UAB, and then completed residency in Hunstville.  He also has an MBA from University of Alabama.  Dr. Edwards  resides in Guntersville with his wife Hillary and son.

Stephanie Beaver, MSN, FNP-C   Stephanie began her education at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL where she received her Associate of Science in Nursing.  She moved on to University of Alabama in Huntsville where she gained her Bachelor of Science  in Nursing and she finished her Master of Science in Nursing (FNP).  She has worked as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in different locations such as; Cullman Regional Medical Center, CRMC and Hartselle Health Park Urgent Care.  Most recently She worked as Certified Nurse Practitioner at  Marshall Medical Center North ED and she currently works at Lakeside Clinic, LLC in Guntersville, Alabama.

We truly deliver timely, accurate data that ultimately enhances the drug development process and improves people’s lives through the advancement of safe an effective drug therapies. Area residents can have access to the latest in medical research close to home!
