Overview:

Type of Center: Dedicated Research Site, History of Center: FMC Science, LLC has been operating since 2014 lead and under the ownership of Dr. James E. Cain III. FMC Science is also integrated into Advent Health one of the larger primary care groups. This gives our site access to over 80,000 charts hosted two clinics, and two hospitals that host 250,000 charts. Our primary location is located in Lampasas, Texas and we have an additional site in Georgetown, Texas. Mission Statement: "Clinical Trials - Where Treatment Begins."

Research experience:

Medical areas in which your center specializes/conducts research: FMC Science tends to focus on therapeutic areas that fall into/ under family practice. A few areas in which we have conducted studies are;vaccine trials of all ages, endocrinology trials such as triglycerides and diabetes, respiratory trials related to asthma and COPD, cardiology studies and many more. We also have a practicing OB/GYN on staff who focuses on women's health. Most recently FMC Science has added a DDS to our team giving us the availability to participate in dentistry trials as well. Paige Skelton, CPT, CNC: Five years experience working for FMC Science Regulatory Department and is a RAPS member. Mia Monroe: Contracts and Budget: Has been with FMC Science since 2014 as our Finance Officer.

Patient demographics:

FMC Science draws patients in from our Advent Health integration, provider referrals, radio, newspaper and social media ads. FMC Science also has a satellite site in Georgetown, Texas as well which has a diverse population.
