Facility Description
Our site is located in close proximity to the 405 and 710 freeways, close to three local hospitals and an airport. We also have an on site-infusion center, pharmacy, as well as a 24 hour ability to run local laboratory values. Long Beach Clinical Trials is accessible to patients who have wheelchairs and we have free parking. We have a 24 hour call center to answer any of our patients questions and we offer free transportation for our patients who have special circumstances.
Investigator Experience

Barry Heller, MD, has more than 18 years of clinical research experience. He has most recently been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association for his work on COVID-19 treatment studies
Sub-investigators include Monica Lee, MD, with experience in vaccine and women's health studies, and Carla Higbee, FNP-BC, with experience in ABSSSI, vaccine, constipation, flu and cold, and women's health.

Located in the diverse Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach, Calif., the site consistently recruits diverse populations and has successfully recruited many African American and Asian patients.
Other Information
We can use a central IRB and can see patients after hours and up to seven days a week.
