Investigator Experience
Douglas Forsha, MD
Dr. Forsha is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. While there, he researched methods of staining tissue for epidermal growth factor (EGF). He remained at Vanderbilt to complete a one-year internship in internal medicine. Dr. Forsha then completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Forsha has been conducting research trials for more than 20 years. He has an extensive background in therapeutic and cosmetic dermatology, having trained with some of the most prominent injectors in the world in the injection of Botox and fillers.
Staff Expertise
Our dedicated research staff has extensive understanding and experience in dermatology. Our site is GCP and IATA certified. All research staff members are phlebotomy-trained. The site has Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking staff members. In the overwhelming majority of studies, we enroll at least the number of patients agreed upon with the sponsor. We frequently over-enroll. We are often asked to enroll more than our original goal to help sponsors reach national/worldwide targets. Coordinators offer immediate turnaround times for regulatory documents, clinical trial documents and data entry.
Patient Demographics
Pediatric to geriatric.
Other Information
We have worked with a central IRB.
