The clinical staff expertise and experience at PRI is unparalleled! Working closely with our team of board-certified physicians, we have several masters-degree RNs with an average experience level of more than 15 years. Our senior clinical research coordinators, Judy L. Morrissey, RN, MSN; My-Linh Tong, RN, MSN, NP; Mellissa Henry, RN, MSN, NP; and Lynn Badgett, RN, BSN, CCRC, have more than 60 years of combined clinical research experience.
PRI's utilization of a clinical team concept, whereby our physicians work together with our masters degree nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, bachelors-degree research nurses and clinical research coordinators, enables the institute to provide the most optimal, yet appropriate, research experience for all of our study participants. Moreover, the reliability and validity of data generated by the PRI research team is consistently categorized as being of the utmost quality.
In an era when so many organizations are scaling down on the education and experience levels required in order to work in research, PRI has held steadfast to its core values and competencies. We believe that our adherence to these high standards uniquely and consistently positions us to provide both our program participants and our grant sponsors with the best research experience possible! We thank you for your time and consideration.
PRI's offices are conveniently and strategically located in the San Fernando Valley (population of 1.8 million), the Los Angeles County area (population of 9.8 million), and the Orange County area (population of 3 million). Each population base is demographically distinct, ranging from 22 percent to 64 percent nonWhite in race. Similar diversity in age, education, language, and income can also be targeted for special studies.
Our Commitment to Quality Research
Beginning in the 1970s, PRI has consistently maintained a team-oriented working environment which we believe is very conducive to providing the most optimal treatment for our study participants. The board-certified physicians and masters- and bachelors-level nurses at PRI not only possess outstanding clinical expertise, they also consistently convey qualities that are truly exemplary of a "caring" healthcare provider. Our well-educated and highly experienced team members are dedicated to providing the best care possible to the patients and communities that we serve.
