ClinOhio Research Services is an independent, multitherapeutic, dedicated outpatient research site established in 2017. ClinOhio has a wide range of capabilities to support the conduct of all our clinical studies and to provide high-quality data. ClinOhio’s investigators are intimately involved with each study and provide access to more than 70,000 patients from their respective practices to recruiting for women’s health, dermatology and internal medicine/family practice studies. Located in Columbus, Ohio, we also recruit from the 1.2 million people in the Columbus metropolitan area.

ClinOhio outpatient clinic has more than 1,800 sq. ft. of office space composed of two exam rooms, a CLIA PPMP lab with a medical grade vaccine refrigerator and -20°C freezer, and a secured climate-controlled drug room with a medical grade vaccine refrigerator. The refrigerators, freezer and drug room are continuously monitored by a Temperature Guard VM605E system, which records each zone’s temperature every 30 minutes and contacts staff when a power failure of temperature excursion occurs. ClinOhio is located 0.5 miles from a major medical center with an ER and has access to digital mammography, DEXA and TVU as well as agreements for x-ray and MRI procedures.
Dr. Harold Green
Dr. Green is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and is the medical director of ClinOhio Research Services. Dr. Green has conducted 16 clinical studies as the principal investigator since 2009. Dr. Green is a practicing physician at Columbus Obstetricians-Gynecologists, a practice consisting of 16 physicians with a database of more than 50,000 patients from the central Ohio area.
Dr. Robert Wolf
Dr. Wolf is a board-certified family practice physician and has been with the Central Ohio Primary Care group since 2001. Dr. Wolf received his MD from University of Western Ontario, where he was a co-investigator of two research studies. Dr. Wolf’s private practice consists of two physicians and serves more than 10,000 patients.
Dr. Benjamin Bogucki
Dr. Bogucki is a board-certified dermatologist and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He obtained his MD from Ohio State University and is a physician partner at Eastside Dermatology in central Ohio. Dr. Bogucki has numerous publications and presentations on the research he has conducted. His clinical interests include Mohs micrographic surgery, procedural dermatology and general dermatology. Dr. Bogucki has deep interest in most dermatological research and has access to more than 12,000 patients in his practice database.
Dr. Alan Parks
Dr. Parks finished his MD at State University of New York, with his internship at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Parks founded and has been a practicing physician with Eastside Dermatology in central Ohio since 1987. He has numerous publications, presentations and abstracts to his credit. Dr. Parks is a board-certified dermatologist with research and clinical interests in cosmetic and surgical dermatology, laser treatments, BOTOX, and cosmetic and skin cancer surgery. Dr. Parks has received the American Academy of Dermatology Community Service Award for skin cancer screening.
James Sanders, MPH, CCRP
University and has more than 22 years of research experience, spanning preclinical phase 1 to 4 research. He has conducted or managed more than 150 studies throughout his career and has experience working as a clinical research associate for a large CRO and project manager for a biotech company. Jim has more than 10 years of experience in management of clinical research facilities including five years as site director.
Mary Schumacher, RN
Mary acts as a backup study coordinator. She obtained her RN from the Ohio State University, where she worked for more than 30 years. Mary has completed the CITI GCP training.
ClinOhio has access to the practice databases of each of our investigators as well as the central Ohio community.
ClinOhio prefers to use a central IRB but will work with Schulman IRB if no central IRB is utilized. IRB submission is typically two business days and contract negotiations, one week.
