Public Transportation is available throughout the city of New Bedford and the surrounding towns. The nearest stop is also walking distance to the site. New Bedford, MA is centrally located between Cape Cod, MA and Providence, RI. With over 3,000 square feet of dedicated clinical research space, the site is fully equipped to conduct Phase I-IV trials.

Muhammad Munir, MD Principal Investigator / Sub Investigator
Dr. Munir graduated from Karachi University in Pakistan. Dr. Munir completed his Residency and Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Boston University Medical Center. He has 18 years of experience as a Psychiatrist. Dr. Munir is currently the Medical Director of both Boston Health Care, in Walpole, MA and Boston Neuro Behavior Associates in New Bedford, MA.
Mushtaque Chachar, MD Principal Investigator/ Sub Investigator
Dr. Chachar graduated from the University of Sindh in Pakistan. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Yale University. Dr. Chachar has 15 years of experience as a Neurologist. Dr. Chachar completed his fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Sleep Medicine. He is currently the head of General Adult Neurology at Boston Neuro Behavioral Associates in New Bedford, MA. He is also a Neurologist at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA.
Al Peters has over 12 years of experience as a site manager. His responsibilities include overseeing ongoing studies and business development. Al also has experience in coordinating research studies.
Novex Clinical Research's Staff includes: 2 Primary Investigators, 1 Site Manager, 4 Clinical Research Coordinators, 1 Assistant CRC, 1 Patient Recruiter, 1 Marketing Specialist, and 1 Billing Specialist. The coordinators hold titles ranging from CRC I- CRC III. In addition, the site has personnel that conduct onsite internal QA.
Novex Clinical Research's large patient database is a result of the site as well as the Private Practice the site is affiliated with. This database allows for queries by age, medical history, inclusion/exclusion ECT. In addition this database closely resembles our diverse community. Subjects are recruited mainly from the database; however advertising is utilized when needed.
