    Overview

    CRP is a research center in Richmond, Virginia conducting clinical research studies, phase I-IV. We work with numerous qualified private practice physicians with a diverse range of specialties. Each member of our team possesses the attributes of integrity dedication, personal commitment, responsiveness, professionalism and attention to detail.

    • Over 50 years of combined research experience conducting phase II-IV studies.
    • Affiliation with numerous multi-specialty practices enabling successful enrollment of participants in many therapeutic areas
    • Compliant with Good Clinical Practices, Code of Federal Regulations and HIPAA
    • CRP has an extensive research database.

    Experience

    Since 1998 our center has successfully conducted over 120 phase II-IV clinical trials. Our 8 full-time coordinators are highly educated and trained in medicine and research.

    The sponsors we have worked with include: Fujisawa, Merck, Schering-Plough ITGI, Glaxo Smith Kline, Covance, ICON, Novo-Nordisk, Quintiles, PPD, PRA, Novartis, Tap Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi Aventis, Almirall, Alcon, Altana, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer Pharmacia, Pharma Research, Sepracor, Takeda, Abbott Laboratories, Arena Pharmaceuticals, Novum, Alcon, Clay-Park, Boehringer and MedImmune.

    We are capable of conducting research in the following areas:

    • Cardiovascular: lipid disorders, hypertension
    • Central Nervous System: Alzheimer’s disease, smoking cessation, migraines, headaches, insomnia, sleep apnea
    • Dermatology: Acne, fungal infections, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis
    • Endocrinology: Diabetes-type II, obesity, lipid disorders
    • Immunology: Vaccine studies, viral infections, immunotherapy
    • Gastroenterology: Constipation, GERD, irritable bowel disease
    • Musculoskeletal: Arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, Back pain
    • Respiratory: Allergic Rhinitis, asthma, sinusitis, bronchitis, COPD
    • OB/GYN: Women’s Health, aesthetics
    • Psychiatry: Child, Adolescent and Adult: Depression, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Bipolar Disorders, Tourettes, Substance Abuse issues, and Schizophrenia.

    Facility

    We specialize in conducting research in outpatient facilities and MD practices. We work with any Central IRB approved by the sponsor. All of our sites are within 15 miles to the airport.

    Co-Proprietor, President and Medical Director has been conducting phase II-IV clinical research trials since 1998. Area of Expertise: Internal Medicine, Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Repeatedly voted a "Top Doc" in Allergy and Immunology (as reported in Richmond Magazine).
