    Overview

    Direct Helpers Research Center (DHRC) is a dedicated medical institute that combines a network of committed and experienced personnel to conduct an array of clinical research trials in phases 1 to 4. We aid the pharmaceutical community with the advancement of medications and medical devices to seek an outcome where you will benefit from a better quality of life. DHRC has successfully collaborated with major pharmaceutical companies and CROs. We continually meet and exceed enrollment, patient retention and data integrity while adhering to the good clinical practice guidelines.

    Research Experience

    We have conducted clinical trials, including early- and late-phase trials, with a broad range of indications such as:

    • Hypercholesterolemia
    • Osteoarthritis
    • Constipation

    Our site has been involved in clinical research for six years and we have worked with sponsors/ CROs such as AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Eli Lilly. Please visit our website for a complete list of sponsors.

    Facility Description

    Our center is conveniently located in the heart of Hialeah, near hospitals, laboratories and imaging facilities, where we outsource in certain trials. Public transportation is easily accessible, although we provide our own transportation to accommodate subjects’ travel. Our facility has all state-of-the-art medical equipment. Safety measures are taken into consideration with an on-site crash cart, AED machine and oxygen tank. All staff members are CPR-certified.

    Staff Expertise

    In addition to the board of 12 PIs, DHRC is made up of a site director, a financial department, a recruitment department and three teams of CRCs. Our staff is composed of CRCs with over 30 years combined of experience.

    All staff members are CPR-certified, OSHA- and HIPAA-compliant and trained in good clinical practice guidelines. All team members are familiar with most EDC, IVRS and IRB systems. We take pride in providing quality data to our sponsors and CROs.

    Our facility has a database with a diverse demographic population. The majority of our patients are Hispanic, White and/or African American. Participants are age six and older.
