  • An Ophthalmic Safety Study in Patients With Breast Cancer

This is a multicentre study assessing the ophthalmic safety in patients who are participating in a qualifying study. The study will include two cohorts of at least 60 individuals each. To be able to account for events associated with aging, worsening of pre-existing conditions, etc., ophthalmic study assessments will be performed in parallel in two cohorts at the same timepoints. The duration of the study assessment period will be approximately 12 months. Longer duration of the study would result in additional patient burden.

  • SCAD : a Registry of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection

Observational, multicentre, international retrospective and prospective cohort study. Since this is an observational study, a formal sample size is not necessary. At least 500 prospectively recruited patients and 500 historical cases will be enrolled. Patient data will be collected at the following time-points: - First SCAD event visit (retrospectively on chart review) - First follow-up: at time of enrolment - Yearly follow-up: up to 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 years post enrolment or until study completion Approximately 30 countries and 120 sites will participate in this registry.

  • Magnetic Gastro-Ileal or Gastro-Jejunal Diversion Study ("MGI/MGJ Study")

The purpose of this clinical research study is to evaluate the feasibility of the GT Metabolic Solutions Magnet System, GJ Biofragmentable ("MagGJ System") for creation of a side-to-side anastomosis for gastro-ileal or gastro-jejunal diversion in obese adults. This partial diversion of intestinal contents from the stomach to the ileum or jejunum is intended to facilitate weight management/loss in obese adults and improve metabolic outcomes in obese adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus ("T2DM"). Side-by-side anastomoses are currently created by sutures, staples, and anastomotic compression devices. A predicate procedure is the single anastomosis sleeve ileal (SASI) bypass procedure that includes a gastro-ileostomy at the distal antrum of the stomach. Additionally, the one anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB) or single anastomosis gastric bypass (SAGB) performed in two stages may also be considered a predicate procedure where an anastomosis between the jejunum and anterior lesser curvature of the stomach is performed, followed by a second stage gastric pouch stapling more than 12 months later (non-study procedure).

  • Ofatumumab in Portuguese Multiple Sclerosis Patients - an Observational Study

This is a 2 cohort, multi-center, observational study carried out in Portugal that aims to describe the effectiveness of Ofatumumab in a setting of routine medical care. Primary data will be collected from Multiple Sclerosis patients who initiate Ofatumumab early and later in their disease (cohorts 1 and 2, respectively). Data will be collected during 3 visits distributed over a maximum period of 24 months. Exceptionally, if the patient shows Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) worsening in visit 2 or 3 (12 and 24 months after Ofatumumab initiation, respectively), there will be an additional visit 6±1 months after visit 2 or 3 for EDSS confirmation. The study includes patients that have initiated Ofatumumab up to 12 months prior inclusion in the study OR Patients that are initiating Ofatumumab at the moment of study inclusion. Patients in both cohorts will have to be treated with Ofatumumab for at least two years to compare No Evidence of Disease Activity (NEDA)-3 at 12 to 24 months, respectively.

  • A Study of Camizestrant in ER+/HER2- Early Breast Cancer After at Least 2 Years of Standard Adjuvant Endocrine Therapy

This is a Phase III open-label study to assess if camizestrant improves outcomes compared to standard endocrine therapy in patients with ER+/HER2 - early breast cancer who completed definitive locoregional therapy (with or without chemotherapy) and standard adjuvant endocrine therapy (ET) for at least 2 years and up to 5 years. The planned duration of treatment in either arm of the study is 60 months. The eligible patients must have intermediate or high risk of recurrence, as defined by specified clinical and biologic criteria. Prior use of CDK4/6 inhibitors is permitted. The primary endpoint of the study is Invasive breast cancer-free survival (IBCFS) and main secondary endpoints include Invasive disease-free survival (IDFS), Distant relapse-free survival (DRFS), Overall survival (OS), Safety and Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs). Patients will be followed for 10 years from randomization of the last patient.

  • Neuropsychological Sequelae and Long COVID-19 Fatigue

This study will address the neuropsychiatric sequelae that remain for at least 6 months after SARS-CoV-2 acute infection, as depression, anxiety and/or post-traumatic stress disorder. The patiensts will be assessed at the post-COVID-19 outpatient clinics of five Portuguese Hospitals. In the first visit (T1) will be collected the demographic characteristics; the medical history; and the screening of acute disease symptoms and severity. In the second visit (T2), the time frame will be at least 6 months after the positive test and no longer than 9 months, a set of structured questionnaires will be provided, including: the Chalder Fatigue Scale, Anxiety and Depression Hospital Scale (HADS), The Posttraumatic Stress Symptoms-14 (PTSS-14) adapted to COVID-19 and the EuroQol 5-Dimensions (EQ-5D).

  • Clinical Assessment of Essential Remote Monitoring Functions in Pacemakers

All patients will be included just after implantation and will then be followed during 48 months after inclusion. At each on-site or remote follow-up visit (1 to 3 months, 6, 12, 24 and 48 months), performances of the remote monitoring functions and the cardiac pacing system itself will be measured, and safety will be monitored during the whole clinical investigation duration.
