Ovulation

Ovulation is the process where a matured egg is released from the ovary and enters the fallopian tube. It is a crucial part of the menstrual cycle and occurs approximately once a month in women of reproductive age. Ovulation is triggered by a surge in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) produced by the pituitary gland.
