Nasopharyngeal cancer is a rare type of cancer that occurs in the nasopharynx, the upper part of the throat behind the nose. It is often associated with the Epstein-Barr virus and is more common in certain parts of the world, such as Southeast Asia. Symptoms may include a lump in the neck, changes in hearing or vision, and difficulty swallowing or speaking.
