Barretts Esophagus
Barrett's esophagus is a condition where the cells in the lower part of the esophagus change due to chronic acid reflux. The normal cells in the esophagus are replaced with cells that are similar to those found in the intestine. This condition is a risk factor for developing esophageal cancer.
