Chronic Renal Anemia

Chronic renal anemia is a type of anemia that occurs due to kidney disease or dysfunction. The kidneys produce a hormone called erythropoietin, which stimulates the production of red blood cells. When the kidneys are damaged, they produce less erythropoietin, leading to a decrease in red blood cell production and resulting in anemia.
