Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a mental health condition in which a person is excessively preoccupied with perceived flaws or defects in their appearance. These perceived flaws may be minor or nonexistent, but they cause significant distress and impairment in daily life. BDD can lead to social isolation, depression, and even suicidal thoughts and behaviors.
