Prostatic Intraepithelial Neoplasia
Prostatic Intraepithelial Neoplasia (PIN) is a pre-cancerous condition of the prostate gland where abnormal cells are found in the prostate tissue. PIN is categorized into low-grade and high-grade based on the degree of abnormality seen under the microscope. High-grade PIN is associated with an increased risk of developing prostate cancer.
