Anemic cancer is a type of cancer that can cause a low red blood cell count, also known as anemia. This occurs when the cancer cells interfere with the production of red blood cells in the bone marrow. Symptoms of anemic cancer may include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and pale skin.
