Varicose%20veins

Varicose veins are enlarged and twisted veins that appear swollen and blue or dark purple in color. They are most commonly found in the legs and feet. Varicose veins occur when the valves in the veins that prevent blood from flowing backwards fail to function properly, causing blood to pool and the veins to swell.
