Parathyroid Disorders

Parathyroid disorders are medical conditions that affect the four small glands located in the neck, called the parathyroid glands. These glands produce a hormone called parathyroid hormone (PTH), which regulates calcium levels in the body. Parathyroid disorders can result in either too much or too little PTH production, leading to a variety of symptoms and health problems.
