Study Summary

A clinical research study is evaluating an investigational medicine added to statin therapy that may help reduce the risk of future cardiovascular events (heart attack and stroke).

Participation Eligibility

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have had a heart attack, stroke, or symptomatic blockage in the arteries of the lower extremities

OR

  • Have ASCVD risk factors (e.g. hypertension, vascular disease, kidney disease, etc. )
  • Additional qualification criteria exist

Study Description

We are seeking participants for a clinical study to evaluate the impact of an investigational mediation on adults with who have Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) and high cholesterol.

The goal of this study is to determine the investigational medications effect on lowering cholesterol as well as reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in individuals with ASCVD event history.
