Summary

The RISE Registry - (Research Inclusion Supports Equity) is a national effort to address the needs of 18+ LGBTQIA+ who: Have memory concerns or a memory loss diagnosis such as Alzheimer's disease or related dementia (ADRD) Are helping care for someone with memory loss or a memory loss diagnosis Individuals who sign up for the registry will have the opportunity to participate in ADRD research to promote representation and inclusion in research findings. Additionally, the RISE registry provides LGBTQIA+ friendly resources for adults with memory concerns or for those who serve as caregivers and share opportunities to participate in educational or advocacy activities.

Description

Form a network of SGM community members, service providers, clinicians, and researchers with expertise in working with SGM people living with ADRD and SGM caregivers. Those who sign up for the registry will be given the opportunity to participate in research studies and promote representation of LGBTQIA+ people in research. This ensures that future efforts address the unique needs of this population.
