Fulfilling the Caregiving Role: Male Perspectives on their Role as Caregivers for Persons with ADRD

This study is a qualitative study exploring the experiences of male caregivers caring for a person with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia (ADRD). The primary aim of the study is to explore the experiences of male caregivers caring for a person with ADRD throughout the role transitions from family member to caregiver. The secondary aim of the study is to describe the male caregivers' perception of masculinity and its influence on their caregiver role.


30-45 minute semi-structured recorded interview by telephone or by Zoom virtual conferencing.
