Cross-sectional survey: Female opinion on receiving transfusion of O positive blood in trauma

Summary

Women are needed for a research study (survey). The goal of this study is to ask woman the following question: if you were to suffer a trauma with massive bleeding that could result in death, would you want a blood transfusion, if by receiving blood there is a risk to current or future pregnancies.

Participants would complete a one-time survey. There are no study visits to Washington University. Compensation is not provided.

Description

The goal of this study is to ask woman if they would want the benefits of blood in trauma where the patient is bleeding to death, if the blood is associated with a risk to current or future pregnancies.
