LD-FUD for Highly Aggressive Gastric Cancer

A subtype of gastric adenocarcinoma with extensive bone marrow metastasis and DIC has been described. Few patients have been treated properly due to the lack of clinical trials. We designed this phase II study to explore a feasible regimen for this kind of highly aggressive gastric cancer.


5-fluorouracil 200mg/m2/day continuously for 20 days; Docetaxel 25mg/m2, days 1, 8 and 15; This regimen repeats every 4 weeks.

Condition Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation, Thrombocytopenia, Gastropathy, Gastric Cancer, Stomach Discomfort, Gastric Carcinoma, Thrombocytopenia and Thrombocytopenia Prevention, Stomach Cancer, gastric cancers, Bone Marrow Metastasis

Inclusion Criteria

Pathologically confirmed gastric adenocarcinoma
Bone marrow metastasis confirmed by aspiration, biopsy or PET/CT scan
Sufficient liver and renal functions

Exclusion Criteria

treated by cytotoxic or target or I-O drugs
insufficient cardiac or pulmonary function
active infection
no contraceptive measures
