Binge Eating is about more than hunger. Individuals who struggle with binge eating feel a lack of control over eating, and experience shame, guild or embarrassment related to their behavior.

Typically, binge eating involves eating episodes that occur in less than two hours and involve the consumption of food that is definitely larger than most people would consume under similar circumstances.

Binge eating disorder can lead to a decreased quality of life and other health issues. A research study is now enrolling adults who binge eat.

The study is a Phase 2 proof-of-concept, randomized, double-blind study evaluating safety and efficacy of an oral investigational medication in adults with moderate to severe BED versus placebo over a 12-week treatment period.

Individuals who qualify and participate may:
  • Have access to trial medication and study staff
  • Receive reasonable reimbursement for travel
