Summary

The purpose of the study is looking at imbalances of the gut microbiome and how it relates to progression of neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Description

Study activities include visiting the Clinical Research Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center once every three months for a span of two years. Parking will be validated. Participants will be interviewed for an hour time period. Participants' blood will be drawn and an oral swab will be collected. Participants will also provide a stool sample that will be collected from home and sent in the mail. Participants will not need to change anything about their daily routine, diet, or medication.
