We are conducting a Yale MRI research study on Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Early Alzheimer's disease (AD). The purpose of this research study is to increase our understanding of the biological processes underlying a lack of motivation (or apathy). There is one study visit: it includes a 90 minute MRI and questionnaires. No medication or contrast agents will be administered. No radioactivity. Subject compensation is $100.

Inclusion Criteria

Is your age between 55 yrs and 85 yrs?
Gender: Male or Female
Do you have any of these conditions: Alzheimer's Disease or Mild Cognitive Impairment or Dementia or *Healthy Volunteers?
One 2-hour visit consisting of 30 minutes of in-person questionnaires and a 90 minute MRI
