Summary

The Clinical Core Study is a longitudinal study of Alzheimer's disease looking at how people's brains age over time - either with the disease or without it.

Description

We are looking for people with Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment and people with a healthy memory. Participating in the study is like having a physical for your brain every year or every other year. People who are 66 or older will have a visit scheduled every year. People who are between 45 and 65 years old will have a visit scheduled every other year. The main visit consists of a fasting blood draw, a physical exam, memory tests and questionnaires. A second visit every other year is also required to perform an MRI and a lumbar puncture. For participants with Alzheimer's disease and participants from populations that are underrepresented in Alzheimer's research the lumbar puncture and MRI are optional.
