Summary

This study is looking for people who are between the ages of 19-35 or 55-90. Participants can be caregivers for a loved one with dementia, or have no caregiving role. The study is interested in learning about the emotions, perceptions, and cognition of the participants.

Description

Study schedule:
-There will be one study visit. It will take 2.5 hours.
-You will do questionnaires and computer tasks.
-You can sign up for our registry. If you sign up, you may be contacted about future study opportunities.

Study activities may include:
-Doing paper-and-pencil questionnaires.
-Doing computer tasks.
-Signing up for a registry (similar to a mailing list). In the future, you may receive information about other studies.

Treatment or experiment details:
-The questionnaires and computer tasks are related to emotion, perception, and cognition.
-There is no treatment or experiment being tested in this study.
-The researchers are interested in whether emotions, perception, and cognition are different for younger vs. older people, and in people who are caregivers vs. those who are not caregivers.

Additional details:
-There is free parking near the study center.
-You will be paid $10 per hour for your participation.
