Study of the Cutera Enlighten Device for the Treatment of Melasma and Facial Inflammatory Pigmentation

Brief description of study

This is single-center, open-label, prospective study of the Cutera Enlighten device to assess the efficacy and safety of this device in treating melasma (which is skin discoloration appearing on the face due to exposure to the sun) and facial inflammatory pigmentation (which can occur due to injury or inflammation).

All enrolled subjects will receive up to three Cutera Enlighten laser treatments, spaced one month apart, followed by 4 week and 12 week follow-up visits after their last treatment. This means there are a minimum of 3 office visits and a maximum of 5, with the addition of an initial screening visit, all of which include photos being taken in order to track treatment process. All services are provided at no cost.
