Are you suffering from lupus? Are you not responding to your current treatment?

Brief description of study

The aim of the study is to assess whether an investigational drug is safe and works in people with systemic lupus erthematosus (SLE). The investigational drug will be compared with a placebo. A placebo looks exactly like the investigational drug and is given the same way but contains no active drug. The results will help determine whether the investigational drug may eventually be approved for use in SLE.  This study will evaluate the investigational drug to see how safe it is, how it works and if it may help control the symptoms of SLE. The investigational drug is currently approved for the treatment of other conditions.
