RANGER II SFA: A 3:1 Randomized Trial Comparing the Boston Scientific RANGER™ Paclitaxel Coated Balloon vs Standard Balloon Angioplasty for the Treatment of Superficial Femoral Arteries (SFA) and Proximal Popliteal Arteries (PPA)

Brief description of study

The study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Ranger™ drug-coated balloon to open and prevent the re-narrowing of your blood vessel. Paclitaxel is a commonly used drug in other commercially approved devices. The addition of the Paclitaxel drug coating on the balloon could improve the performance of a standard non-drug coated balloon by decreasing the possibility of re-narrowing of the treated blood vessel.
