A Washington University research study seeks participants ages 40 and older.


Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to apply investigational MRI techniques to check blood flow and oxygen in the lower legs and feet of people with and without diabetes, and with and without a foot wound. There are 3 to 4 visits that last 1 to 2 hours. Participation includes questionnaires and completion of a medical history form, exam of your legs and feet, vascular assessment, blood test, and MRI scan of your legs and feet. Risks and benefits will be discussed with volunteers as part of the informed consent process. Up to $125.00 is provided for time and effort (IRB #201603075).
