Type 2 Diabetes with Cardiovascular Risk – Ages 40+

Detailed Study Description

A research study is evaluating an investigational medication for patients with type 2 diabetes that is not well controlled.

This research study may be an option if you:

  • Are 40 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
  • Have an HbA1c of 7.0-11%
  • Do not have type 1 diabetes
  • Meet at least one of the following criteria:
  • A history of one or more of the following: heart attack, stroke, or arterial bypass surgery
  • A history of heart failure
Other criteria apply. Please make sure to discuss with a member of our research staff to ensure this research study is a good fit for you.
Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication or placebo at no cost.
