Pediatric Endocrinology, Obesity study
Description
The purpose of this research study is to investigate whether the trial product is effective and safe in reducing/managing weight in children.
Winthrop-University Hospital Clinical Trials Center is seeking study participants (ages 7-11 years old), who have not started puberty to take part in this clinical research study because he/she has a body weight that is higher than normal for his/her age. The study drug given in this study is being developed for weight management in children with obesity.
Eligible participants will receive study-related medical examinations, research medication and laboratory tests at no cost, while they are participating in this research study. Compensation may be provided for time and travel.
