A Washington University HIV risk research study seeks young males, 18 – 34 years old.
The purpose of the study is to see if there is a relationship to exposure to violence and HIV risk behaviors in young men who engage in same sex relationships. This is a one-time survey. Participation will take about 30 minutes. Participants may be asked if they are willing to be contacted for a follow-up interview at a later date. Possible risks and benefits will be discussed with volunteers as part of the informed consent process. For time and effort participants will receive a gift card for 15 dollars to Target, Walmart, Walgreens, or Subway and a single-use Metro ticket (IRB #201503122).
