Food Allergy, Phenotype, Regulation and Development of the Immune System in Adult Atopic Dermatitis Patients

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis) | Allergy
  • Age: Between 18 - 65 Years
  • Gender: Male or Female

Eligibility Criteria:

Group 1:

  • Must have AD is an area where a skin biopsy can be performed

Group 2:

  • Suspected of having food allergy by history and no hx of AD Participants must have a history of food allergy to one of the tested foods in the study including: Oat, Barley, Carrot, Celery, Shrimp, Cow Milk, Soybean, Wheat, Codfish, Beef, Apple, Egg-White, Peanut, Chickpea, Sesame, Corn Flour, Tomato
  • Cannot have history of anaphylatic response to ingestion of food


  • Cannot be HIV positive
  • Cannot have any immunosuppressive diseases
