Description

California Neuroscience Research is conducting a research study on the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication or placebo in patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease. The study has up to 31 office visits over up to 40 months. Participants will receive an investigational medication or placebo monthly by subcutaneous injection.

Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by progressive memory impairment, as well as problems in:

  • Language
  • Recognition
  • Carrying out tasks
  • Planning or organizing

Investigational medication and all study-related services are provided at no cost. Certain medications and certain medical conditions are excluded. A responsible caregiver must accompany the participant.

Inclusion Criteria

If you or someone you know is between 50 and 90 years of age and has progressive memory impairment, you may qualify for
Study-related evaluation by a Board-Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist
No cost, study-related physical and laboratory examinations
Reimbursement to participant and caregiver for time and travel
