Summary

Postmenopausal Osteoporosis

Description

Postmenopausal Osteoporosis is the medical term used for the disease that weakens bones in women, increasing the risk of sudden and unexpected fractures. Literally meaning "porous bone," osteoporosis results in an increased loss of bone mass and strength. The disease often progresses without any symptoms or pain. Many times, osteoporosis is not discovered until weakened bones cause painful fractures usually in the back or hips.

Throughout this clinical trial, participating women will receive regular study-related health check-ups. All study-related visits, exams, and medication will be provided for qualified participants at no cost to them. Compensation for time, travel, and expenses may be available.

For more information or to set up an appointment, please call Comprehensive Clinical Trials at (561) 478-3177.
