Detailed Study Description

The Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Winthrop-University Hospital is conducting a study of an investigational vaccine for meningococcal disease type B (MnB).

There are different types of meningococcal disease. Four of the five most common types, A, C, W-135 and Y currently have a vaccine, but there is no vaccine worldwide to prevent meningococcal disease type B.
