Alzheimer's Disease Research Study
Description
Over 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. That means millions of families are learning how to cope with this disease. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s, you may be interested in this research study. Clinical Research Associates in Nashville, TN is enrolling people ages 55-85 who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We are looking for individuals who in the mild to moderate stages of the disease.
The study lasts a total of 78 weeks. Seven visits to our offices are required. You will be evaluating either an investigational medication for Alzheimer’s or a placebo (inactive ingredient).
Compensation for your time and travel are available.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
To qualify to participate, you must be:
- Be between the ages of 55 and 85
- Have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s
- Have mild to moderate Alzheimer’s
- Have no history of stroke
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
Exclusion criteria include:
- have had a stroke
- are not willing or able to have an MRI
- do not have a reliable caregiver who is willing to serve as a trial partner
