Are you taking prescription pain medication for moderate to severe chronic low back pain?

Detailed Study Description

Do you also have constipation?

We are conducting a clinical research study that is looking at whether an investigational medication is suitable in treating both moderate to severe chronic low back pain and constipation.

Patient Inclusion Criteria
You may be able to participate if you:

• are 18 years of age or older
• are taking prescription pain medication for moderate to severe chronic low back pain
• have ever experienced symptoms of constipation from your pain medication.

This study will last for approximately 5 months and will require at least nine visits to the study center so that the study doctors and nurses can monitor your health.
