Research Study for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Description
This is a research study for chronic pulmonary disease (COPD). Subjects who meet the criteria at Screening and meet the randomization criteria at the end of a Run In period will then enter the treatment phase of the study. Participation could last from 7 to 15 weeks.
The study will screen approximately 100 patients at 10-15 study sites across the United States to enroll 84 subjects.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- Subjects 40-80 years old
- Current and former smokers will be accepted
- Subjects must have greater than a 10 pack year smoking history
- Males and Females will be accepted
Additional criteria will be reviewed with the subject.
Volunteers will be asked to come to the clinic for up to 9 visits. All study related medical examinations, laboratory tests and study medication are provided to qualified participants at no cost.
