Have you been using a low to medium dose inhaled steriod for the past 3 months?

Brief description of study

The Clinical Research Center is conducting a research study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication to treat asthma. The study consists of 9-10 visits over 16-18 weeks. You will use both an inhaler and nebulizer during the course of this study.

Eligibility Criteria:

To Qualify:

You must be 18-75 years of age
You must have a diagnosis of Asthma for at least 1 year
You must not have a history of life-threatening asthma or any other significant respiratory disease
You cannot have undergone major surgery in the past 3 months
You cannot have used immunosuppressive therapy, oral or injected steroids, or any monoclonal antibodies in the past 12 weeks
You must not be a current or former smoker with a pack year history more than 1
